TCNJ Link connects Lions with Lions

TCNJ is asking all its Lions to come together.

The Office of Development and Alumni Engagement and the Office of Career and Leadership Development launched TCNJ Link, a dynamic new social platform that connects all members of the TCNJ community. Whatever your role in our community—faculty, staff, alumnus, or student. Wherever you are in your career—an undergraduate student or decades beyond graduation. Whatever your goal—finding a mentor or looking for a rewarding way to give back. All are encouraged to join this new endeavor.

TCNJ Link includes a full opt-in directory of alumni, students, faculty, and staff; mentoring opportunities specifically matched to the user’s career goals; exclusive job listings or post opportunities; and the chance to “link” with teammates, members of an organization, alumni in your city, and more.

“We created TCNJ Link to allow connections to flourish for the TCNJ community,” says Amy Walton, director of alumni engagement. “We wanted to provide a place where Lions could gather, pay it forward to one another, access resources, learn, and register for upcoming events and webinars.”

TCNJ Link also fosters mentorship. Current students can select that they’re interested in mentorship and alumni can offer their knowledge and expertise once connected. The Office of Career and Leadership Development will ensure the pair is a good fit based on career goals.

“Automated matching suggestions enable us to pair mentors and mentees by industry and job function,” Walton says. “The platform then provides integrated features that help to nurture the relationships along the way.”

For alumni, the platform is one of many ways to remain connected to their alma mater while continuing to give back.

“TCNJ Link provides alumni with a platform to help one another and current students, as well as prepare for life after graduation,” says Luke Hertzel ’17. “There is no better way to remain connected and continue to collaborate.”

To register, visit the TCNJ Link website. You can use your LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, or TCNJ account information to sign up.
