In an ongoing effort to offer the highest-quality education and campus resources at The College of New Jersey, the TCNJ Foundation has introduced a targeted fundraising initiative — For the Love of TCNJ — focused on two key priorities:
For the Love of Lions: to support scholarships to help TCNJ remain affordable and accessible to all students;
For the Love of Community: to support a new performing arts and interdisciplinary space on campus called The Pavilion at TCNJ.
For the Love of Lions
The goal of this campaign is to generate multi-year scholarships for 500 or more deserving students so they can focus on their TCNJ education rather than how to pay for it. The ability to afford the cost of a college education is a concern to many academically qualified students and their families, and ensuring that the exceptional education that TCNJ offers remains attainable to current and future students is one of the college’s most critical needs at this moment.
For the Love of Community
The Pavilion at TCNJ is a multi-purpose venue that will provide opportunities for both indoor and outdoor programming that serves the college and the broader community. It will offer rehearsal space for music majors, classroom and meeting space, concerts, theater performances, lectures, summer arts festivals, alumni events and more. Incorporating and accentuated by the picturesque natural beauty of the campus, the Pavilion at TCNJ will be one of the college’s signature venues.
With the fundraising campaign designed to last 12–18 months, The Pavilion at TCNJ could open as soon as 2026.
