About the Alumni Admissions Ambassadors Program
The College of New Jersey is creating a team of alumni from across the United States who can show prospective students the benefits of a TCNJ education at college fairs and scholars’ receptions.
What is the role of an Alumni Admissions Ambassador?
To assist a member of the TCNJ Admission Office in answering questions from prospective students and their families at college fairs. If you do not know an answer, you will be able to defer to the counselor.
What is the purpose of a college fair?
College fairs provide prospective students with the opportunity to learn more about the TCNJ experience, academics, activities, career opportunities, the application process, and more. The goal is to encourage students to connect with college representatives, to visit campus, and ultimately to apply for admission.
What is the time commitment for being an Alumni Admissions Ambassador?
The program is flexible, you choose where and when you can attend. After we find a college fair that you are able to attend, we will connect you with the admissions counselor scheduled to attend that fair.

When you volunteer, you keep our student and alumni communities connected and demonstrate the power of TCNJ’s network to prospective students.
Please note: We cannot guarantee that you will be able to attend the fair(s) you selected due to capacity limitations. Only one Alumni Admissions Ambassador can attend per college fair.
